IRChromeLite Infrared Filter Magnetic Clip for Nikon Z Full Frame

The IR Chrome Lite Magnetic Clip-In Filter for Nikon Z from Kolari Vision can be used with full-spectrum cameras to replicate Kodak Aerochrome IR film. It turns trees, leaves, and other foliage red while keeping the sky blue. You can achieve the Aerochrome look without any editing or quality loss.

This clip-in filter features an aluminum frame with small built-in magnets. It secures magnetically to the camera mount, and your lens then mounts on top. The filter sits securely between the camera and lens. It's compatible with full frame Nikon Z-mount cameras.

A full spectrum modification is required to be made to your camera. This entails manually removing the camera's low-pass filter and replacing it with a clear filter. Once that's done, this filter will work as intended. (Kolari Vision can make the modification for you at a cost if you send in your camera to them.)

The filter material is glass. A small removal tool is included but not required. The compact tool looks like a guitar pick and is included just in case, as the filter can easily be removed by hand.

Compatibility

• Nikon Z6 II and Z7 II
• Nikon Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z9: Due to a weaker magnetic force within these four compatible cameras, the filter has to be attached while the camera is laid on its back, with the lens mount facing up. After the filter is secured magnetically and the lens is mounted, the filter will stay firmly in place, and you can then freely move the camera.
