Full Spectrum filter removal and replacement with MC Clear or SS2000 filter
Full Spectrum conversion with MC Clear or SS2000 blade. This modification allows you to do infrared imaging and UV with the SS2000 blade.
Compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Ricoh, or Pentax cameras.
For the majority of Canon and Nikon cameras, including some Sony, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Ricoh, Pentax, and Sigma, we offer conversions with a clear MC Clear or SS2000 filter, the latter allowing UV light to pass through!
This "Full Spectrum" modification (VIS+IR or UV+VIS+IR to symbolize that it lets all radiation through that the sensor is sensitive to) gives you the ability to do infrared imaging by refiltering on your lens with an IR-Pass filter of your choice.
VIS+IR: MC Clear filter for infrared imaging
UV+VIS+IR: SS2000 filter for infrared and ultraviolet imaging.
Creativity and maximum flexibility are guaranteed!
The optical path is preserved, allowing you to focus to infinity with any lens. The bandwidth of this modification corresponds to the "Canon EOS completely defiltered" spectrum in the image below.
The piezo dust removal system is lost in all cases since it is connected to an anti-IR filter.
The filter replacement work is carried out under a laminar flow hood to ensure impeccable cleanliness after the modification.
